Collective Worship at our school is a joyful, sacred, and spiritually enriching experience that brings the community together to give thanks, celebrate, and receive wisdom and inspiration. We participate in an act of Collective Worship every day led by a teacher or a visitor from our local church. Our Collective Worship is central to the life of the school; indeed, it is a thread which runs through the lives of our children and staff.
Through Collective Worship, participants are able to:
Develop a sense of connection and belonging within the school community through shared experiences, soaring together in unity and faith as we place our hope in the Lord.
Engage in personal reflection, self-awareness, and spiritual growth, allowing for transformational change that empowers us to rise like eagles, strengthened by God's love.
Seek inspiration and wisdom to live life in its fullness, as expressed in John 10:10, embracing the abundant life God promises to those who trust in Him.
Appreciate and celebrate the beauty and mystery of creation, recognising that all human achievement, both within our school and beyond, is a gift from God, whose handiwork we see in the world around us.
Nourish and deepen the faith of those who believe, uplifting each other as we renew our strength in the Lord’s presence.
Reflect on how scripture offers comfort, encouragement, and inspiration, illustrating God’s love, faithfulness, and the transformative power of faith that enables us to soar to new heights.
Actively engage through reflection, prayer, and songs of praise, lifting our spirits and hearts in worship, trusting that in His strength, we will rise.
This approach creates a space for all to grow spiritually, building a community where everyone can thrive in faith and understanding.
Darcy uses iSingPOP to deliver high-quality classroom collective worship that is engaging, inclusive and reflective. Through music and discussion, pupils explore the theme of Life in all its fullness, supporting spiritual and personal development. Sessions are closely aligned with the school’s vision: Together we grow, together we flourish, together we fly, helping pupils understand the importance of community, respect and shared values. Pupils are actively involved through singing and reflection, creating a positive worship environment.
